Terms of Service

Effective 5 May 2026

1Acceptance

By creating an account or using Mailendar (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2Description of Service

Mailendar is a SaaS platform that automatically creates and manages calendar events from emails you send to it. You can forward a confirmation, CC your calendar address on an update, or send an email directly with an attachment or photo. The Service uses AI to process email content on your behalf.

3Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You may not share your account with others.

4Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Forward emails containing illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to send spam or harass others
  • Circumvent any rate limits or access controls

5AI Processing

The Service uses third-party AI providers (including OpenAI) to parse and interpret your email content. By using the Service you consent to this processing. We do not use your content to train AI models.

6Subscriptions and Payment

Free and paid plans are available. Paid plan pricing is shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 14 days of a charge.

7Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from account settings, which permanently removes your data immediately.

9Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-parsed events.

10Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, Mailendar’s liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

11Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.

12Changes

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
